      Thank you for standing for indigenous people. Here are some important facts to share with the ignorant brainwashed. $500-600 million of lobster are sold every year to the global markets from this area. If these people really cared about conservation, they would take back control of the resource WITH indigenous people and kick the corporations out. Corporations have taught these fishermen to scapegoat indigenous people in order to take away the spotlight on their unsustainable business.

    • @killabeezattack3819
      @killabeezattack3819 3 года назад

      @@electrawolf8491 100% they are so quick to lay blame when they themselves are a bigger cause to the problem! Nova Scotia had one of the largest yearly lobster harvest last year at around 450 million sold. The indigenous people are such a small % of that number and are the ones cleaning up the left over and cut lobster traps that are left behind by others. This is just really sickening this is happening.

    For the most part First Nations have lived in harmony with Mother Earth. There was always a few crazy tribes such as the Mohawks. LOL. The GoC tried for many many years to destroy the Indian fortunately they failed and what we see in this instance is a First Nation taking back their identity. Racism and Colonialism is shown its ugly form again and it is evidenced in how this situation is being handled. The amount of Native fishing boats pales in comparison to the commercial fleet and I know nothing about the numbers but it is easy to figure it out. Another sad display of what has been going down for a long time. Why is the government not putting down the hammer? I guess the evil past continues on....
